The Italian-Brazilian tenor Giovanni Tristacci has been pointed out by the specialized critique as one the new great talents of the Brazilian operatic scene, with great success in the lyric tenor repertoire.In in the last seasons he was "Don José", in "Carmen (Bizet), "Prince", in Rusalka (Dvorak), "Kalaf", in Turandot (Busoni), "Prince", in "Lamour des trois Oranges" (Prokofiev), "Rinuccio", in Gianni Schicchi (Puccini), "Alfredo", in La Traviata (Verdi), "Mozart", in Mozart and Salieri (Korsakov), "Heurtebise, in Orphée (Philip Glass), "Faust", in Faust (Gounod), “Kudrjas” in Katya Kabanova (Janacek), "Tamino", in Zauberflöte (Mozart), "Candide", in Candide (Bernstein),  "Roméo" in Roméo et Juliette (Gounod), "Ernesto", in Don Pasquale (Donizetti), "Duca" in Rigoletto (Verdi),  "Camille de Rossilion", in Die lustige Witwe (Léhar), "Tamino", in Die Zauberflöte (Mozart),"Narraboth" in Salomé (R. Strauss), among others.

          Thanks to a scholarship provided by Fundación Carolina, he studied under Eduard Gimenez guidance, at Concervatorio el Liceo, in Barcelona ( 2009/2010). In 2010 he was admitted to the Centro de Perfeccionamento Placido Domingo in Valencia, under the direction of Alberto Zedda. After that, he was accepted into the Chapelle Musicale Reine Elizabeth (Belgium), and studied under José van Dam and Jocelyne Dienst (2011-2013). Bachelor in music by the University of  Rio de Janeiro, Tristacci also studied with the tenor Eduardo Alvares and Isabel Maresca in São Paulo.

          Giovanni Tristacci often appears in programs of Symphonic and Chamber Music. He has worked with great Musical directors in Brazil and Europe, such as Luiz Fernando Malheiro (Brazil), Alberto Zedda (Italy), Roberto Minczuck (Brazil), Theodor Guschlbauer (Austria), Patrick Fourniller (France), John Neschling (Brazil), Christopher Warren Green (England), among others.
